RT @bikepgh: Do you have our newest Pittsburgh Bike Map designed by @Deeplocal? http://t.co/Yf0twCE

I love type. I especially love the look of hand-set letterpress type and the texture of old wooden type.

Today I took a tutorial at Artist Image Resource with Jenn on her last day of employment there. We developed and printed a polymer plate and I also printed some thank you cards set from wood type. Cheers to Jenn for her kind assistance and instruction and thanks for Artist Image Resource for existing.

Hello!

I will be drawing a live portrait mural at SPACE gallery this Friday night. I’ll be there from 1-9:30 p.m. during the gallery crawl. Also, for an added challenge, (and on account of a recent bike injury…) I will be drawing this mural with my right hand! What will come of it? No one knows!

BUT, if you do come by, I will draw you into the mural and then you will have the satisfaction of:

A. Being a part of art.

B. Being famous.

C. Finding out what kind of art my right hand makes.

Note: Portraits may or may not be flattering.

All the best,

Cara
